About the Project
Neurodivergent Young Entrepreneurs (NYE) is a 28-month Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership involving organisations from Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Denmark and the Netherlands. Together, the partnership is designing and testing an European open-access neuroinclusive entrepreneurship model for young people. The project combines research, co-design and practical experimentation to create learning experiences that respond to different cognitive profiles and entrepreneurial journeys. From accessible digital learning and specialist mentor training to real-life Entrepreneurship Labs, NYE helps young people develop business ideas while providing youth workers and enterprise educators with the tools to better support them. Rather than adapting young people to existing systems, NYE explores how entrepreneurship support itself can become more inclusive, flexible and responsive to different ways of thinking.

Neuroinclusive Entrepreneurship Framework
An open-access framework bringing together research findings, co-design methodologies and practical guidance to support more inclusive entrepreneurship education.
Digital Learning Platform
An accessible online platform offering 20+ bite-sized learning modules, flexible learning pathways and practical business resources designed to accommodate different learning styles and sensory preferences.
Entrepreneurship Labs
Pilot programmes delivered across partner countries where participants develop business ideas, receive tailored mentoring and test entrepreneurial concepts in supportive, real-world environments.
Mentor & Educator Academy
A specialist training programme preparing 50+ youth workers, enterprise educators and mentors to better understand neurodiversity and adapt their practice to different learners.
Community & Alumni Network
A European network connecting young entrepreneurs, mentors and partner organisations to encourage continued peer learning, collaboration and business development after the project ends.
Policy & Good Practice Resources
Recommendations, toolkits and evidence gathered throughout the project to help entrepreneurship organisations and policymakers embed neuroinclusive approaches into future programmes and services.

Entrepreneurship is often associated with creativity, problem-solving and seeing opportunities where others see obstacles—qualities that many neurodivergent young people naturally bring. Yet traditional entrepreneurship programmes are rarely designed with different ways of learning, communicating and processing information in mind.
As a result, many aspiring entrepreneurs encounter barriers long before they have the chance to develop their ideas. Limited access to tailored support, inaccessible learning environments and a lack of specialised mentoring mean that entrepreneurial potential often remains untapped. NYE was created to change this. By rethinking how entrepreneurship is taught and supported, the project aims to make business creation more accessible, more inclusive and more reflective of the diversity of talent that exists across Europe.
